Grunchmas
Grunchmas is Barely Informed News’ annual holiday special in which Case Blackwell embodies The Grunch—a horny green Grinch variant—and adjudicates the community-submitted Fucks List (who fucks / who doesn’t) from a mountaintop scrying cave. The ritual returns each December with green face paint, psychic letter portals, speed-run rap verdicts, and the Grunch’s claimed yearly death/hibernation/sweat-cocoon cycle.
By Grunchmas 2025 the network billed the fucks-list rite as the fourth annual edition, confirming a multi-year tradition rather than a one-off bit.

- The Grunch: Case in green (and occasionally pink) paint; emerges from an amniotic sack / sweat cocoon for a few days of orgiastic adjudication, then “dies” or re-cocoons until next year. Functionally illiterate—reads viewer letters by vibing psychic wavelengths.
- The Fucks List: Discord/community submissions of celebrities, memes, network staff, and fictional entities; Grunch rules Fuck / Doesn’t Fuck with absurdist rationale, often finishing in a freestyle rap speed-run.
