Rennerton
Rennerton (also spelled Renerton) is the network’s municipal simulator: a chat-elected mayoral city that Case Blackwell plays live as whichever character wins the ballot. Early lore ties the city to SimCity-style planning; the October 2024 Return To Renerton marathon weekend ran city-builder sessions (including They Are Billions and a Cities: Skylines aftermath reference) across successive administrations that routinely end in tornadoes, Godzilla, nuclear fire, or zombie “extreme loiterers.”
Case later traced the network’s own origins to a SimCity stream that preceded the news-desk format—making Rennerton both a recurring bit and a callback to BIN’s founding city-planning era.

Dormant / Lore Callbacks. The flagship mayoral marathon cluster lands in October 2024; later broadcasts still treat Rennerton as an established zombie municipality (e.g. Munch & Crum platform debates) without a full return stream.
Background & Mechanics
- Chat Elects, Case Plays: Flash polls and town halls fill the ballot with network personalities (and occasional objects). Case then pilots the city-builder in character as that mayor—impressions, policy raps, and press conferences included.
- Spellings: On-air and archive titles oscillate between Renerton and Rennerton; both refer to the same city.
- Games: Pre-marathon chatter frames the city as a SimCity project; the documented October 13 marathon identifies They Are Billions as the mayoring software on the afternoon continuation, while the next weekday show cites a weekend Cities: Skylines session that ended in zombie apocalypse.
- Recurring Mayors & Lore: Pepito, Jeb Nogget, Crum, Munch, Peter Gibbon, Hot Dog Sandwich, Xena Warrior Princess, Godzilla, Gina Darling’s forehead, and a Hamtaro-loving hamster have all held (or contested) office. Civic brands include Renerton Gold beer and river burials.

- Halloween sequel (2024-10-31): Godzilla, Gina Darling’s forehead, a hamster, Munch under “Munchcut law,” and finally Crum (69–0 landslide) attempt to fortify the ruined city against flesh-eating loiterers.
